A charming residence for rent

Situation

In the center of Aix en Provence, la Maison de Carlotta in the Mazarin quarter right near the Cours Mirabeau, the markets and shops.  Facing south, on the second and third floors of an 18th century building (NO LIFT).  With 1500 square feet, the house gets full sun, with no facing building other than the obliquz angle of a beautiful historic manor house and its garden.

The feel of a country home in the center of the city of Aix...

On the first level are these rooms :

• a rooftop terrace facing east with awning, perfect for breakfast in the morning

• Firm high-quality beds :  1 Queen bed (64 x 80 ins/160 x 200cm OR 2 twin beds 32 x 80 ins/80 x 200 cm); 1 Cal King bed (72 ins wide, 80 ins long/180 x 200 cm) OR 2 twin beds (36 x 80 in/90 x 200 cm); and one double bed (55 x 80 in/140 x 200 cm). Pure cotton sheets and towels provided.

Prices – Reservations

Rental prices in effect until 31 December 2010

from 15 January to 30 March and from 15 October to 15 December :
1900 euros for one week, two weeks 3500 euros

from 1 April to 15 October and from 15 December to 15 January : 
2200 euros per week, two weeks 4000 euros

• Maximum of 6 people
• Prices include 6 hours of housecleaner per week
• Stays are from Saturday to Saturday unless special arrangements are made in advance
• Arrivals are scheduled after 4pm, departures before 11am
• Minimum stay 4 days  - 1600 euros

Réservations Conditions

The reservation is confirmed when I receive your deposit of 50% of the price of your stay, payment options are below.
I accept checks in euros, bank transfers, or Paypal transfers at email : aline.daquilante@wanadoo.fr
I’ll send you a rental agreement by return mail.
The balance of your rental must be paid 15 days before your arrival by transfer on my account bank, or check drawn in euros.
If you cancel your stay, payments made to me are not refunded.
Warning – important – get trip insurance to cover your travel and home rental plans.
A security deposit  of 2 000 euros  is required the day of yourarrival. The equivalent sum of 2 000 euros can be  paid by check drawn in your local money. It will not be charged  and will be refundable latest 15 days after you leave the house, if everything is right.

 

La Maison de Carlotta, located on the second and third floors of a very old historic building, is not suitable for the handicapped, nor for small children.  
Your pet friends are not permitted.

For the well-being of all, there is no smoking allowed throughout the whole house.
